The device has a drive train (3) connected with an input shaft (9) of a winch (1), and an adjusting gear mechanism (6) arranged between a grinder (2) and the winch. The gear mechanism converts rotation movement of the drive train into rotation movement of the input shaft of the winch depending on a control signal for initiating the selection of a determined speed ratio in an integrated step-up gear of the winch. The input shaft rotates in same or opposite direction, where the grinder is rotated by a crank gear (4).
