PURPOSE: A heat-sterilization apparatus of a cold water bucket and a water purifier using the same are provided to freely adjust the amount of water heated according to capacity of the cold water bucket, and rapidly to sterilize the cold water bucket. CONSTITUTION: A heat-sterilization apparatus of a cold water bucket includes the following: a heater(23) installed on an inner side of a cold water bucket(21) storing and cooling water; a water level sensing unit(50) installed on the cold water bucket; and a control part(100) controlling operation of the heat by a signal of the water level sensing unit when the water in the cold water bucket is discharged. The water level sensing unit includes a support pipe, a float in which a magnetic body is built; and a lead switch offering an on/off signal to the control part.
