<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in the continuity of an image, even when write-in frames are excessive. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image processing unit 10 includes a first to a third frame memories 21a-21c, a first and a second selectors 22a and 22b, and an interpolating processing circuit 24. The first to the third frame memories 21a-21c store in order image signals received continuously. The first selector 22a is connected to the frame memories in order of storing the image signals. The second selector 22b is connected to a frame memory connected to the first selector 22a in a previous read-out frame by one.
