PURPOSE: An image correction apparatus and method by generation and blending of multiple images are provided to reduce the inconvenience of photographing multiple images by obtaining an image of high dynamic range at a time. CONSTITUTION: An input image converter(110) changes the RGB of an inputted original image to a brightness value. A weighted value calculator(130) calculates the weighted value about synthesis between the original image and a plurality of bright images of a bright image generator(120). An image synthesizer(140) synthesizes the original image and the bright images by application of the weight value. A synthesized image RGB converter(150) converts the synthesized image into an RGB range according to the color rate of the original image by the brightness value of the synthesized image.
