摘要 <p>The crankcase (1) of an internal combustion engine that is produced in a pressure die-casting process, comprises a cylinder liner (2) arranged in the crankcase and connected with the crankcase in a connecting area (4), and a coolant chamber (3) intended for cooling the cylinder liner and formed by recasting pressure-resistant and water-soluble salt cores. The connecting area of the crankcase is formed with the cylinder liner in a force-fit and material-fit manner. The cylinder liner is formed with a coating before recasting in the connecting area of the crankcase with the cylinder liner. The crankcase (1) of an internal combustion engine that is produced in a pressure die-casting process, comprises a cylinder liner (2) arranged in the crankcase and connected with the crankcase in a connecting area (4), and a coolant chamber (3) intended for cooling the cylinder liner and formed by recasting pressure-resistant and water-soluble salt cores. The connecting area of the crankcase is formed with the cylinder liner in a force-fit and material-fit manner. The cylinder liner is formed with a coating before recasting in the connecting area of the crankcase with the cylinder liner, where the coating reacts with the metal to be cast and/or is active as adhesion mediator. A profile of the coolant chamber is formed at the transition points between the crankcase and the cylinder liner in an optimum flow without dead spaces for the flow. The coolant chamber is completely formed by cast material of the crankcase in an enclosed manner. An intermediate layer is arranged between the salt core and the cylinder liner before recasting and dissolves in the melt during casting the crankcase or is infiltrated from the melt. A distributor structure is arranged in the coolant chamber for distributing the flow of the coolant, and is formed as a deflection plate runningly arranged parallel to the cylinder liner. A reinforcing structure is arranged in the salt core before recasting. The salt core is arranged from the cylinder liner spaced adjacent to the connecting area at the transition points between the crankcase and the cylinder liner before recasting. The distributor structure and/or the reinforcing structure are arranged in the salt core before recasting.</p>
