PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network formation method and system for easily forming an internal community in a peer-to-peer community network in which any management server is not arranged. SOLUTION: In a community network system, a sponsor member A transmits a retrieval request message in which the identifiers B and C of his or her own direct acquaintance members B and C are recorded to peer nodes Hash(B) and Hash(C) in a step S1, and receives a retrieval response message in which the identifiers of acquaintance members D and E of the member B and acquaintance members F and G of the member C are recorded from respective peer nodes Hash(B) and Hash(C) in a step S2, and extracts member identifiers D, E, F and G from respective retrieval response messages, and transmits the registration message in which the member identifiers D, E, F and G are recorded to the peer node Hash(A) in a step S3.
