<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea plant-picking machine well performing tea leaf picking work or the like while self-propelling between both side ridges across a tea ridge, and capable of performing stable operation of a cutting blade unit even when vibration or the like occurs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the riding tea plant-picking machine, traveling devices 1 and 1 self-propelling between both side furrows across a tea ridge T, are equipped with a cutting blade unit 5 supported above the tea ridge T and a tea leaf receiver. The cutting blade unit 5 is composed to be freely elevated relative to a body frame 3 by extending-contracting actions of a hydraulic cylinder 7, wherein the body frame is provided at the riding tea plant-picking machine. A stopper device 8 by which the cutting blade unit 5 is held at a height position desired in picking work when the cutting blade unit 5 is descended, is set to be freely adjustable in vertical position.
