PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable suppressing a pick-up image from being affected by dust even if the dust is stuck on an imaging device or its optical system. SOLUTION: Pixel positions corresponding to dust present in an imaging device and its optical system are detected from an imaged image for dust detection. With respect to an ordinary imaged image obtained by ordinary imaging, it is determined whether or not each piece of image data is data of the pixel position corresponding to the dust (S44) and correction processing is performed on the data of the pixel position corresponding to the dust (S45).
