<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a communication route of packets to which a disappeared packet belongs ever. <P>SOLUTION: In a network, communication routes for respectively connecting terminals 11, 21 to terminals 12, 22 are integrated by a repeater 31 and the integrated communication routes are connected to a repeater 33 and then connected from the repeater 33 to the terminals 12, 22. The repeater 31 performs forward error correction encoding of a plurality of packets for the communication of the terminals 11, 21 with the terminals 12, 22, converts the encoding operation result into a redundant packet and transmits the resulting redundant packet to the repeater 33 together with the plurality of packets. The repeater 33 performs forward error correction decoding between the redundant packet and the plurality of packets and reports the error decoding operation result to a network management system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
