<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blur correcting device of a camera that quickly performs blur correction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the blur correcting device of the camera, which corrects image blur by moving a movable part 4 on which a holder 18 supporting an imaging device 11 is arranged, the movable part 4 is pressed from a plurality of directions perpendicular to an optical axis by holding parts 55a to 55d and elastically held so that a center of the imaging device 11 may be nearly aligned with the optical axis. By biasing an X coil 23 and Y coils 24a and 24b of the movable part 4 in such a state that the movable part 4 is held by the holding parts 55a to 55d, the movable part 4 is moved on a plane perpendicular to the optical axis, so as to perform blur correction.
