<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a stator in which a cylindrical cage-shaped stator coil is mounted to an integral cylindrical core with a coil gap removed. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the stator for a rotary electric machine, in which the stator coil around which a plurality of phase windings are wound is mounted to the cylindrical core having a plurality of teeth in the inner circumference, includes a step of mounting a winding roll 48 to the cylindrical core 30. The mounting step includes: placing the winding roll 48 inside the cylindrical core 30 so that the corresponding teeth 31 is set between circumferentially adjacent straight stacked sections 481; and radially expanding the winding roll 48 while inserting the corresponding teeth 31 between the circumferentially adjacent straight stacked sections 481 by inserting a radially expanding tool 52 into the winding roll 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
