<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust ball bearing which can prevent damage to a raceway groove under a usage condition in which a rotating side raceway disk is arranged eccentrically to a stationary side raceway disk with specific eccentricity with a radial load in one direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the thrust ball bearing, by fastening the stationary side raceway disk 1 made of steel to a bearing seat 4 with attaching means 5 and by fixing it following the lowest bearing surface parts 8, 8 at the bisecting positions in the circumferential direction and the high bearing surface parts 9, 9 on each path which connects both of the lowest bearing surface parts 8, 8 in the circumferential direction, groove lowest parts 6a, 6a supported on the lowest bearing surface parts 8, 8 and groove high parts 6b, 6b supported on the highest bearing surface parts 9, 9 are caused in the raceway groove 6 of the stationary side raceway disk 1. As long as the thrust ball bearing is used under the condition where the direction of an axial plane including both of the groove lowest parts 6a, 6a matches that of the radial load Fr in one direction, the groove high parts 6b, 6b and the raceway groove 7 of the rotating side raceway disk 2 can contact balls 3 under the usage conditions as above, thereby preventing the occurrence of a gap zone.
