PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for promotion of emulsification of emulsified fuel, wherein a necessary space other than a tank is greatly reduced compared to those of the conventional ones, the number of components are reduced to greatly decrease a manufacture cost, and both of re-emulsification of the emulsified fuel and manufacture of emulsified fuel are enabled. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes: a mixing nozzle 14 which is provided at a lower position than a liquid level 18 in the tank and sprays liquid from a discharge port at a spacing of 10 cm or less with respect to a wall surface in the tank; and an agitation nozzle 16 for spraying liquid from a spray port toward the liquid in the tank to mix the liquid in the tank, wherein the liquid in the tank 10 is sprayed on the mixing nozzle 14 and the agitation nozzle 16 with a high-pressure pump 30. Emulsification of the liquid in the tank 10 by the mixing nozzle 14 and agitation of the liquid in the tank 10 by the agitation nozzle 16 are performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
