<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and inexpensive method for purifying water contaminated with water-bloom toxins. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for purifying water contaminated with water-bloom toxins, the water is absorbed by roots of Portulaca oleracea, which is cultivated to decompose the water-bloom toxins contained in the water.
