The suspension (1) has a transverse control arm (4) rotatable about a longitudinal axis. A body spring (5) has a torsion bar spring for absorbing rotational movements of the arm. A stress relief spring has a torsion bar spring connected with an end (7) of the body spring, where the relief spring is disposed coaxially with the body spring and attachable to a vehicle e.g. motor vehicle e.g. passenger car, body (3). An electromechanical actuator (8) changes the angle of rotation of the body spring, and a damping unit is provided. |
