<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard audio system capable of outputting a musical piece introduction by voice even though voice data for musical piece introduction is not recorded in advance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the onboard audio system 1, when a broadcasting receiving part 12 receives broadcasting including voice information and character information, a control part 11 determines whether the voice information included in the broadcasting is voice information for musical piece introduction, and associates the voice information with the character information to record them in an HDD 15 when the control part 11 determines that it is voice information for musical piece introduction. Then, during reproducing of the musical piece, the control part 11 extracts the voice information for musical piece introduction corresponding to a musical piece to be reproduced from voice information recorded in the HDD 15 on the basis of the character information recorded in the HDD 15.
