摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce emission during cold start of an internal combustion engine 1 by enabling the temperature rise acceleration process of a catalyst 5 disposed in an exhaust gas passage 4 of the internal combustion engine 1 and the temperature rise acceleration process of cooling water of the internal combustion engine 1 using the exhaust heat of the internal combustion engine 1 and executing the temperature rise acceleration process of the catalyst preferentially to the temperature rise acceleration process of cooling water, in an exhaust heat recovery device 18 for the internal combustion engine 1. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust heat recovery device 18 includes a first heat circulation route 40 for heating the catalyst 5 through the exhaust heat on the downstream side of the catalyst 5 and a second heat circulation route 50 for heating the cooling water of the internal combustion engine 1 through the exhaust heat on the downstream side of the catalyst 5, and is constructed to start the heat circulation of the first heat circulation route 40 earlier than heat circulation of the second heat circulation route 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
