<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition having a biodegradable function and durability, and a molded article obtained from the resin composition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The resin composition includes a polyester capable of forming a crystal structure, and a substance having a dehydration-condensed structure of two molecules of natural product-derived α-amino acids except glycine and represented by the general structural formula (1) (wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each a group bonded to α-carbons of α-amino acids or substituted group thereof).
