PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen capable of preventing the wear of a ball swivel seat and hardly causes the sink of a ball while maintaining superior lubrication even if used for the ball-point pen having a small diameter of≤0.5 mm, and formed of a superhard material. SOLUTION: An aqueous ink composition used for the ball-point pen includes at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a colorant other than carbon black, a phosphoric ester and carbon black of 0.15 to 1.0 wt.% per total amount of the ink.
