PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a stator coil firmy with high rigidity and suppress vibration and noise. SOLUTION: A motor has a base 10, a sleeve 20 erected on the base 10, a yoke 41 which has a regular polygonal hollow which is fitted to the sleeve 20 and fixed coaxially with the sleeve 20, stator coils 40 which include coils 42 formed by applying wires to the yoke 41 at a plurality of positions, a rotor element 30 rotatably supported coaxially with the sleeve 20 and a rotor magnet 60 fixed to the rotor element 30 and energized by a rotating magnetic field. The polygonal inner circumferential surface of the yoke 41 is composed of contact parts which are approximately central parts between the adjacent corner parts and brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the sleeve 20 over the whole length in an axial direction, and flat separation parts between the respective contacts and the corners on both the sides of the contacts and face the sleeve 20 with gaps therebetween.
