<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an IC card which is going to be registered in an authentication server for performing printing from being registered as an IC card of other user. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine 100 accepts a card ID of the IC card, transmits the card ID to IC card authentication service of the authentication server 200 to perform an authentication request, acquires an authentication result from the IC card authentication service of the authentication server 200, and when it is shown that the authentication result is not authenticated, accepts input of a user ID, and after the user ID is accepted, accepts input of the card ID of the IC card again, determines whether or not the card ID accepted first and the card ID accepted again are the same piece of authentication information, and for the same piece of authentication information, transmits the user ID to SA service of the authentication server 200 to perform the authentication request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
