<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge taking-out method by which a cartridge stored in the interior of a cell and catched on a wall surface of the cell is taken out without increasing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge taking-out method includes a pressing step and a releasing step, for taking out a cartridge 100 catched on the wall surface of a cell 300. In the pressing step, biasing force of an biasing means is increased by pressing the latch lever 306 while moving the picker mechanism 500 so that after picker mechanism is made to abut on a latch lever 306, the latch lever 306 is moved in the direction of progressing forward a release position A from an engagement position B.
