PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the torque variation absorber which a plate face is smooth to the face of a friction material and the face pressure distribution is uniform and the friction torque is stable. SOLUTION: The torque variation absorber includes a damper mechanism 20 which includes the friction material 26 on the perimeter, the flywheel 3 which the driving force is delivered from the driving source, the first plate 31 which contacts the first face of the friction material 26 while rotating with the flywheel 3 unitedly, the second plate 32 which contacts the second face of the friction material 26 while having an extended part towards the first plate 31, the disc spring 33 which biases the second plate 32 to the friction material 26, the support member 10 which supports the disc spring 33 while rotating with the first plate 31 unitedly, and the tightening member 34 which tightens the first plate 31 and the support member. The first plate 31 has the reinforcement part 31b which is formed between the friction face and the tightening member and the hole which the extended part of the second plate 32 is inserted.
