Sheets 6 fed along a table 8 in register with a side guide 13 are inverted and stacked on a support 9 by pairs of co-operating rollers 3, 3a; 4, 4a; and 5, 5a. The rollers 3a, 4a and 5a are driven by a cylindrical or conical roller 2a, their axes being skewed to the direction of feed of the sheets. In the case of a conical roller 2a, the diameters of the rollers 3a, 4a and 5a need not be equal. The rollers 2a, 3a, 4a and 5a may be replaced by a single cylindrical or conical roller, Fig. 1a (not shown). A curved guide bar 7 assists in deflecting the sheets. |
