<p>PURPOSE: A method for controlling an air conditioner is provided to control the degree of overheating by sensing the exhaust temperature of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling an air conditioner is as follows. The cooling degree is set(S200). When an air conditioner is operated, it is determined whether a first setting time is passed(S210). If the first setting time is passed, it is determined whether the cooling degree is satisfied with a change condition(S220).
