PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot and cold water mixing device, capable of performing water discharge without deviation from a set temperature in an operation handle by restraining hot water and water flowing out of a main valve element from pressing a guide member of a thermosensitive spring and exerting effect on the energizing force of the thermosensitive spring. SOLUTION: The hot and cold water mixing device includes a bias spring 32 which generates an energizing force for sliding the main valve element 30 which changes the flow rate of hot water and water to a predetermined direction; a thermosensitive spring 34 which generates an energizing force for sliding the main valve element in a direction opposite to that by the bias spring according to the temperature of hot water; and a thermosensitive spring guide part 50 which stores and guides the thermosensitive spring, and is moved by the energizing force of the thermosensitive spring to slide the main valve element. A hot water entering part 50a of the thermosensitive guide member includes an entrance-side end portion 50c forming an entrance port 50b on the outside, an exit-side end portion 50e butting on the thermosensitive spring while forming an exit port 50d on the inside of the thermosensitive spring guide member.
