PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator which can improve productivity and operability by making it easy to inspect a piezoelectric vibration element even after assembly, and is adaptive to size reduction. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator includes: a substrate part; a container body which has a first recessed space formed by providing a first frame part on one principal surface of the substrate part and has a second recessed space formed by providing a second frame part on the other principal surface of the substrate part; a piezoelectric vibration element mounted on a pair of two piezoelectric vibration element mounting pads provided in the first recessed space; an integrated circuit element mounted on an integrated circuit element mounting pad provided in the second recessed space; and a wiring board for airtightly sealing the fist recessed space, wherein a pair of two piezoelectric vibration element-measuring pads is provided on the principal surface of the wiring board on a side opposite to the principal surface facing the first recessed space side of the wiring board.
