<p>An absorptive article, wherein the absorptive article is packaged individually without permanent folding lines and wrinkles formed on flap sections in order to reduce unpleasant feeling to the wearer. A sanitary napkin (1), wherein flap sections in which an absorbing body (4) is not provided are formed on both sides, respectively, of a body portion equipped with the absorbing body (4) provided between a liquid permeable front surface sheet (3) and a rear surface sheet (2), the flap sections are each folded to the body portion side, and the sanitary napkin (1) is packaged individually by being longitudinally folded at the positions of lateral folding lines (L1, L2). The sanitary napkin (1) is formed in such a manner that, in an expanded state thereof, the lateral length (BB) between both side edges of a region corresponding to the lateral folding line (L1) is less than the lateral length (AB) of regions located forward and rearward of the region corresponding to the lateral folding line (L1).</p> |
