<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter capable of setting a function to be executed simply, even in the case of being unfamiliar with a function of the flowmeter. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This flowmeter includes an attribute display means for displaying a plurality of kinds of attributes on a display means 45, when being set so as to execute the function of the flowmeter; an attribute selection means 42 for selecting the attribute based on input received by an input means 46 during display of the plurality of kinds of attributes; a class determination means 41 for determining the class of each function based on the attribute selected by the attribute selection means 42 from the value of each attribute determined beforehand relative to each function; a sorting means 43 for rearranging each function in the order of the determined class; a class order display means for displaying a set content of each function rearranged in the order of the class by the sorting means 43 on the display means 45 in the order of the class; and a setting means 44 for selecting a function based on input received by the input means 46 during display of the set content of each function by the class order display means, and setting so as to execute the selected function.
