摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a proper drive force by suppressing the degradation of the charging status of a secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine 10; first and second shift mechanisms 40 and 50; first and second clutches 61 and 62; a motor/generator 20 connected to a first shift mechanism 40 having a first speed gear stage 41; a battery monitoring unit 29 for detecting the charging status of a secondary battery 28; and a traveling mode setting means (electronic control device 100) for, when a vehicle travels at a low speed in such a status that a request driving force or a road surface gradient at the upstream side of a traveling path is large, and the charging status of the secondary battery 28 shows that its quick charging is not necessary, setting a traveling mode with the power of the internal combustion engine 10 through a first speed gear stage 41, and for, when the charging status of the secondary battery 28 show that its quick charging is necessary, setting the traveling mode in which the vehicle is made to travel with the power of the internal combustion 10 through a second speed gear stage 52 of a second transmission mechanism 50, and the motor/generator 20 is made to regenerate a power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
