<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus reducing restrictions on layout of parts by preventing damage and malfunction of electronic circuit parts such as an IC which is easily affected by magnetic noise produced from a power receiving coil. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a power receiving coil 14 generating induced electromotive force by a magnetic field generated by a charger 16, when the imaging apparatus is placed on the charger 16. The imaging apparatus is provided with an enclosure 11 which covers the bottom surface of the imaging apparatus and is made of a conductive material, and a plate 12 which is provided above the enclosure 11 and made of the conductive material. The power receiving coil 14 is arranged in a space between the enclosure 11 and the plate 12, and the circumference of the power receiving coil 14 is shielded by either or both the enclosure 11 and the plate 12.
