PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data-collecting device capable of efficient data transmission by reducing overhead in transmitting data photographed by a high-speed camera. SOLUTION: The data collecting device has a first storage means 32 for storing image data of an imaging means 20, a second storage means 34 for storing image data of the first storage means 32, on the basis of data transmission condition DSJ and a control section 40; the data transmission condition DSJ includes a trigger condition TGJ, a data extraction condition DCJ and a transmission data generating condition SSJ, defining the data capacity of the transmission data SD in transmitting the image data of the first storage means 32 to the second storage means 34 according to the imaging speed. If frame data configuring image data satisfy the trigger condition TGJ, the control section 40 extracts the image data, based on the data extraction condition DCJ within a predetermined time range and couples the frame data configuring the extracted image data to the data capacity defined by the transmission data generating condition SSJ.
