SOLUTION: When print data is received in an automatic Nin1 mode ("Y" in S51), a CPU 54 detects the number of pages of the received print data for one job (S54). When the detected number of pages is two or more ("Y" in S55), the residual quantity of consumable goods is detected S56. When the residual quantity of consumable goods is 21-30% ("Y" in S57), 2in1 print setting is performed (S58), when the residual quantity of consumable goods is 11-20% ("Y" in S59), 4in1 print setting is performed (S60), and when the residual quantity of consumable goods is 10% or less ("Y" in S61), 9in1 print setting is performed (S62).
