The crash can 3 is connected to the end part of the side frame 1 in a state where its four projecting parts 3a, 3a, 3b, 3b are directed in upper, lower, right and left directions of a vehicle. The upper and lower projecting parts 3a, 3a of the crash can 3 are projected. The bumper beam 2 includes a projecting strip part 33 extending in the vehicle width direction. The right and left projecting parts 3b, 3b of the crash can 3 are joined to a top face 32a of the projecting strip part 33 respectively, and the upper and lower projecting parts 3a, 3a of the crash can 3 are joined to the upper and lower surfaces 32b, 32b of the projecting strip part 33 respectively.
