摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display which prevents image quality from decreasing without decreasing a speed of image display switching even when an active element having low charging capability for an image constituent member is used. SOLUTION: The levelΔV of a feedthrough voltage as a variation component of a driving voltage generated at a drain terminal 1004 of an active element 1001 in switching of an operation state for alternating a select voltage and a non-select voltage to be applied to a gate terminal 1002 is controlled to be within a predetermined range. The predetermined range is larger a lower-limit valueΔVmin set so that a charging voltage of a pixel constituent member corresponding to a predetermined pixel rises up to a predetermined target voltage to complete a progressive display operation within 0.5 second after the start of the progressive display operation, and smaller than an upper-limit valueΔmax set so that the charging voltage of a pixel constituent member corresponding to a pixel maintaining a display state after a refreshing operation is held high enough to maintain the display state during a period of the progressive display operation.
