The structure, e.g. of honeycomb cells used in the manufacture of panels, is made by extruding or coextruding two different polymer compounds (A, B) that give the cells different properties in the centre and the edges. The joints between the central and edge sections of the cells lie parallel to the plane of the structure, with the polymer used for the edge sections representing less than 50 per cent of the cell walls. |
