HOPPER STRUCTURE OF HOLD FOR LIQUID CARGO AND HULL BLOCK OF TANKER SHIP APPLICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A hopper structure of a liquid cargo and a hull block of a tanker ship employing the same are provided to extend fatigue life of a hopper plate by employing a curved surface shape to minimize fatigue due to the fluctuation of liquid. CONSTITUTION: A hopper structure of a liquid cargo(10) includes a hopper(100) which is formed in a connection part between a side plate(110) and an inner bottom plate(120) of the liquid cargo. The hopper includes a curved hopper plate(130) welded to the side plate and the inner bottom plate on the top and bottom, respectively. The middle portion of the curved hopper plate is concaved toward the edge of the cargo space. The upper part of the curved hopper plate is vertically formed to follow the side plate and the lower part is horizontally formed to follow the inner bottom plate.
