PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soldering iron apparatus capable of controlling heating time during soldering. SOLUTION: In response to such an operation that a user presses down a call button 18 installed in the grip 12 of a soldering iron 10, the soldering iron apparatus body 20 controls the temperature of the tip point 14 of the soldering iron so that a target temperature is obtained which is shown in temperature control information registered in advance. Further, the soldering iron apparatus body 20 outputs in sound such as a buzzer a heating completion notice indicating the iron has reached an allowable heating time through an informing part 280, when a lapse of time from the point of time of the temperature of the iron tip point 14 reaching the target temperature reaches the allowable heating time shown in the temperature control information.
