<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segmented stator arrangement, a generator and a wind turbine for securing very good accuracy in shapes and dimension tolerances of a gap distance, especially cylindrical shape, circularity and diameter without requiring excessive support structure. <P>SOLUTION: The stator arrangement 20 of an electric machine, comprising a plurality of stator segments forming substantially the stator of the electric machine in a cylindric form around a radially centered shaft 21, wherein the stator arrangement 20 is radially surrounded by a rotatably mounted rotor arrangement 22, the stator segments are radially mounted on an outer surface of a support structure 23, the support structure 23 is fixed via rigid connections to the shaft 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
