PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display is provided to simplify a rubbing method of the liquid crystal, to control a pretilt angle of the liquid crystal, and to improve a response speed of the liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display comprises the following steps: a step(S1) forming a first alignment layer which includes an orientation basis material and a monomer or an oligomer on a first substrate; a step(S2) uniting the first substrate in which the first alignment layer is formed and a second substrate; a step(S3) polymerizing the monomer or the oligomer which includes the first alignment layer; and a step injecting a liquid crystal material between the first substrate and the second substrate. |
