<p>The invention relates to an installation for aligning parts (3) transported on a pallet (1), especially underbody elements of motor vehicles, before and after the welding of said elements, each part (3) comprising reference holes (14) and the installation comprising means for defining the geometric position of said reference holes (14). The invention is characterised in that the pallet (1) comprises removable cross-members having aligning bodies in a position corresponding to that of the reference holes (14), each cross-member (12) being specific to the type of part transported, and in that the installation also comprises an aligning point (15) comprising fixed posts (16) provided with bodies (7) on which said specific cross-members (12) of the pallet can be fixed in pre-determined geometric positions.</p> |
