[Also in Division C3] A device for feeding a mould which may be used in the polymerization and moulding of a polylactam comprises a storage vessel 1 which supplies two separate mixing chambers 5 and 8 via valves 3 and 7. After mixing in these chambers the composition passes via valves 15 and 16 to a common mixing or polymerization chamber 19. From this chamber it may be fed through valve 21 to the hopper 23 of the mould 26. Continuous process may be achieved by using a series of moulds.</p> |
