PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing of a planetary gear mechanism capable of reducing sliding resistance of a cage by inhibiting the outer peripheral face of the cage from coming in contact with a center hole of a planetary gear. SOLUTION: This roller bearing is equipped with a plurality of rollers 11 incorporated between the center hole 5 and the center shaft 6 of the planetary gear 4 of the planetary gear mechanism, and the cage 20. The cage 20 includes first and second annular parts 21, 23, and a plurality of column parts 30 connecting the first and second annular parts 21, 23 and defining a plurality of pockets 25 for individually storing each of the plurality of rollers 11. When A is the dimension of a gap between the inner peripheral face of the cage 20 and an outer peripheral face of the center shaft 6, and B is the dimension of a gap between the outer peripheral face of the cage 20 and the inner peripheral face of the center hole 5 of the planetary gear 4, the relation " A<B " is satisfied.
