<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for mounting a coping, at a corner portion of a balustrade wall and the like which are suitable for the case where proper continuity is formed by accurately aligning a butt end surface of the coping for a general portion and that of the accessory coping for the corner portion with each other without gaps or steps in between. <P>SOLUTION: One of jointing members which comprise a pair of male and female members 2 and 3 and which are formed so that a dovetail-shaped cross-section protrusion 22 and a dovetail-shaped cross-section recessed groove 33 can be fitted together mutually, is attached to the butt end surface of either of the coping 41 for the general portion and the accessory coping 42; the other jointing member is attached into a bored portion 43, which is formed in the butt end surface of the other coping; and after the attachment of the one coping to the upper end of the balustrade wall, and the like, the male and female members 2 and 3 are fitted together, while the butt end surface of the other coping is slid along the butt end surface of the one coping, so that the butt end surfaces of both the copings 41 and 42 can be pulled in and jointed together without gaps in between. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
