<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral cavity composition used for preventing and treating oral diseases while inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria present in the oral cavity including a biofilm formed in the oral cavity. <P>SOLUTION: The incorporation of lactic acid bacteria belonging to the genus Leuconostoc into an oral cavity composition causes co-aggregation of the main oral cavity bacteria which form a biofilm in the oral cavity and allows such lactic acid bacteria to attach to the oral cavity mucosa and to be fixed in the oral cavity and as a result, the prevention and treatment of oral diseases can be carried out while efficiently inhibiting the growth of the pathogenic bacteria present in the oral cavity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
