<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand having improved stability which can prevent a thin image display device from falling down toward a wall side in movement that a stand installed close to the wall is separated from the wall when connecting an external input terminal arranged on the back of the thin image display device to external equipment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The stand for the display device formed in L-shape in side view has a support part by which the display device is supported and a base part which is attached to the lower part of the support part. A stand base includes a fixed base and a movable base.
