<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat clip which is not thick, does not allow a user to pinch, depending on the thickness of the paper to be held, and which is prevented from becoming thicker only in clip, as in the conventional clip. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A horizontal spring having no angle like Fig.3 and Fig.4, an object in which a movable plate is attached to a shaft so as to be rotatable, and a base plate are assembled, as shown in Fig.5. A clip assembled in such a manner is configured, such that its thickness becomes only the thickness of the spring when not in use, while its thickness becomes only the total thickness of paper and the spring, when holding the paper.
