PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning mechanism efficiently maintainable in maintenance operations such as filter replacement without contaminating the surroundings even when a cleaning fluid tank is disposed in a recording device body. SOLUTION: This cleaning mechanism includes at least the cleaning fluid tank in which a cleaning fluid used for cleaning a conveyor belt is stored, a cleaning means for cleaning the conveyor belt using the cleaning fluid, a filter for removing the impurities contained in a drain after the cleaning, and a drain flange for receiving the drain dripping from the filter. The drain flange is slidingly movable between the first position at which the flange is stored in the filter and the second state at which the flange is pulled to the lower side of the filter. When the filter is replaced, the drain flange is slid from the first position to the second position to receive the drain dripping from the filter by the drain flange. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
