PURPOSE: A communication method of an immobilizer control unit and an Electronic Control Unit is provided to secure safety of a vehicle by preventing malfunction of the ECU and an unstable response of the immobilizer control unit. CONSTITUTION: A communication method of an immobilizer control unit(100) and an ECU(110) is as follows. When power is supplied to an ignition terminal(IGN1), communication of the immobilizer control unit and the ECU is begun. A user authentication request message is transferred from the ECU to the immobilizer control unit during the communication. When the immobilizer control unit receives the user authentication request message, a communication temporary stop message is transferred to the ECU. The ECU stops communication for the certain time depending on the communication temporary stop message. |
