<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer antioxidant which can effectively prevent the discoloration and fading of images with an oxidizing gas or light in the atmosphere and the spreading of images under high temperature and high moisture, and to provide a recording medium to which the polymer antioxidant is applied and which is suitable for storing images for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer antioxidant is characterized by being obtained by reacting at least three compounds consisting of a sulfur-containing organic compound having two or more active hydrogen groups, a nonionic polyol compound having two or more active hydrogen groups, and a polyisocyanate compound having two or more isocyanato groups.
